PIVOT POINT

Pivot point adalah harga yang menjadi titik penentu arah trend kemana harga sebuah mata uang akan menuju. Apakah itu menuju bearish ataukah bullish.

Pivot point bisa diperhitungkan dengan menggunakan data trading hari sebelumnya. Dengan melihat dari nilai high, low, dan close, kita dapat memperhitungkan pivot point hari ini begitu juga dengan nilai level support dan resistance.

Secara teori pivot point adalah nilai yang pertama kali kita lihat pada saat kita memasuki pasar. Hanya pada saat harga menyentuh nilai pivot point (PP) inilah kita bisa menentukan apakah kita akan long (buy) atau short (sell) dan menentukan target profit dan stop lost.

Secara umum, jika harga hari ini berada dibawah PP maka bias trend hari ini adalah bearish (downtrend), dan jika harga hari ini berada di atas PP maka bias trend hari ini adalah bullish (uptrend).

Tehnik ini kelihatannya simple dan sangat mudah digunakan, tapi sayangnya tidak semudah itu dan sering kali tidak sesuai yg kita harapkan. Banyak hal yang musti kita lihat seperti indicator dan economic news yang bisa mempengaruhi harga.

Traditional Method
Resistance 2 (R2) = Pivot + (H-L)
Resistance 1 (R1) = (2 * Pivot)-L
Pivot Point (PP) = (Hyesterday+Lyesterday+Cyesterday)/3
Support 1 (S1) = (2 * Pivot)-H
Support 2 (S2) = Pivot - (H-L)

Pacific Bay Mission

at SunsetStrangely enough today
both the sky and the bay
water are washed overin shades of orange and creamy
whitesimilar in shade to the clay tiles
of the mission's roof and from the third floor
looking out I can see the sand clear
like crushed glasssparkling beneath the pale palmswhich
provide such little shade that the gulls and terns
cover what cool ground
there is at the end of the baypast
the tall thin sails of the banana
boats cutting through the water
I can see the light grey cliffs
which would blend into the clouds
were it not for the orange stain
which the setting sun has given them
beyond that, the bay cliffs and clouds,
I can see nothing
